The optimizer function, as its name implies, primarily consists of optimization at the panel level and brings a higher energy yield of the module, which can reach a value of up to 700 watts. It also helps to implement photovoltaic systems with a more distinct or partial shading, or those with an uncharacteristic panel placement. In addition to a higher power, you will also achieve greater flexibility of the entire photovoltaic power plant, as it allows for easy monitoring of power generation and management of the entire system.
We can equip the whole system of a solar power plant or only some of the panels with the optimizer. The product is compatible with solar panels with a power of up to 700 watts, with a maximum input current of 15 amperes. The voltage range then reaches values from 16 to 80 volts. The output cable with a total length of 1,2 meters will provide you with the necessary comfort for connecting it to the entire system. In addition, thanks to its dimensions, you can easily place the product where you need it because it has only 14 centimeters in width and length and weighs just over half a kilogram.
System communication
To state all key information about the product, we can't forget important data about how the whole system communicates. The basis is in a radio connecting with the use of an MC4 connector which works on the principle of wireless communication. The interconnection is done via Ethernet or WLAN, through an RS485 connection with the Gateway system.

The product also has high protection against bad weather - thanks to protection against external influences with a very high value of IP68. Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA) is one of the smallest universal solar data loggers in the world. Its main function is to obtain detailed information about the performance of solar modules and it is the center for all data of the Tigo products. You can also connect inverters, batters, converters, and other parts of the whole system and in addition, it is compatible with string inverters and modules from all the world's leading manufacturers. You can purchase it as an additional set or integrated with inverters working with devices of types TAP, TS4-A-O, TS4-A-S, and TS4-A-M.
Actual and historical data
The data that the Cloud Connect Advanced records are available to you in real-time, giving you instant access to system data which is not useful only for you but also, for example, for the plumbers and technicians who will be helping you manage your photovoltaics. In addition to real data, however, it will easily give you a look at the historical records it displays on the Tigo Energy Intelligence platform. So you don't have to worry that much about missing out on any important information in the future.
System communication
The product setting offers several communication options - with the help of an internet connection via the Ethernet network, Wi-Fi, or optional mobile connection. The Gateway system is installed on the roof next to the panels and receives data from a radius of 15 meters. It sends this data via the RS485 to the Cloud Connect Advanced data logger and the Tigo portal. At the same time, the entire set enables disconnection of communication at the panel level via the sensor.
