  • MPPT regulator 60A for lead or lithium batteries with system voltage 12-24-48V and for PV panels with max. power 800-1600-3200W (depending on the size of the system voltage) with max. input voltage 135V and min. input voltage 16V.
  • Brief description of MPPT regulators:
  • MPPT regulators adjust the current source-solar panel characteristic to be optimal for battery charging by means of an internal V-A converter.
  • Thus, they can utilize the energy from the solar panels better than PWM regulators that regulate charging only by pulse limiting the direct connection between the solar panel and the battery, where the pulse width is proportional to the state of the battery being charged.
  • In other words, the MPPT regulator can generate the ideal voltage and current for charging the battery from a higher voltage and lower current source.
  • For example, 18V/5A converts to 14.5V/6.2A.
  • The V-A conversion efficiency is usually above 95%, so losses are minimal and the regulators can usually be adapted to different types of batteries to provide the most optimal charging.
  • Specifications:
  • System voltage 12–24–48V automatically, and 36V can be set manually.
  • Max. power of PV panels: 800W-12V, 1600W-24V, 2400W-36V, 3200W-48V.
  • When using more powerful panels, the full power will not be used, but the function of the regulator will be preserved without damage.
  • Max. output voltage of PV panel: 135V.
  • Min. PV panel output voltage: 16V.
  • Max. charging current: 60A, which can be reduced up to 5A.
  • Self-consumption: 1.5W 4-stage battery charging (CC, CV - boost, CV - float).
  • CC = charging with the full power of the PV panels until the set value of the end of charging (CV-boost).
  • CV-boost = charging for 1-2hrs after reaching a clamp voltage of 14-15V (adjustable).
  • CV-float = charging with a holding voltage of 13.5-13.8V (adjustable).
  • Choice of Pb battery type: With liquid dielectric, AGM, AGM GEL, LiFePO4.
  • Disconnecting the load at a battery voltage of 10.8-11.8V - adjustable.
  • LCD display for setting and monitoring operating parameters.
  • Temperature compensation: -4.17mV/K per cell for boost+equal charging, -3.33mV/K per cell for float charging.
  • Modbus protocol based on RS-485 interface maximizing communication possibilities.
  • IP32 protection.
