Compatibility and control of LEDVANCE SMART+ lighting
To use the functions of LEDVANCE SMART+ WiFi fully, you will need only three things:

- Classic WiFi connection with 2,4GHz frequency
- The Ledvance Smart+ WiFi app
Ledvance Smart+ WiFi does not require any special devices (gate), you will just simply connect the Ledvance lights to your existing WiFi network. The lighting control itself can be done in several ways:
App
You can use all the functions via the LEDVANCE SMART+ WiFi app (on mobile phone or tablet), or via other compatible smart home apps, including Google Home or Amazon Alexa. This will allow you to automate even more, as the lights will be able to work together with other smart devices in your home. You can play with the settings directly from the comfort of your living room, as well as from another continent. All you need is internet access.
Voice control
If you integrate lights into the smart home via Google Home or Amazon Alexa, you will have the possibility to control them via voice commands. You can make them using a phone, tablet, or speaker that is part of the smart home. Examples of such speakers include Google Nest or Amazon Echo.
Remote control
You can also use the LEDVANCE WiFi controller with which you can switch between functions according to your needs.
Switch
Of course, you can control all LEDVANCE lights directly via a switch in the room. The light remembers the last setting from the app when it is turned off.

The Ledvance Smart+ WiFi app can really do many things, and use all its possibilities fully.
- Households and users. By assigning lights to households, you can set them separately for every household. Add members who can control scenes in the selected household by themselves. Are you renting a cottage? You can easily share access with guests and remove them again after their stay ends.
- Dimming, temperature, and light color. You will choose any light intensity, and setting the temperature and light color is also simple. Are your eyes tired after exhausting work? You can relax them in a few seconds by changing colors and intensity.
- Creating light scenes. In addition to premade scenes, you can also create your own. You will set the white light for your children to play and write homework, and use the warm ambient light for a peaceful family dinner.
- Advanced automation. Set to the smallest detail what should happen at a specific time and place. Are you used to reading a book every night at ten before going to bed? You can preselect the lighting exactly according to your habits.
- Automatic turning on and off. Define which day and at what time the light turns on or off, or choose a time interval for how long it should turn off or on.
- Light grouping. Create and name groups of lights that you can control individually or by room. With one click, you can turn on all the lights, for example, in the bathroom.
- Waking up and sleeping mode. Gradually increasing the light intensity in the morning will help you to wake up comfortably, and dimming it will help you to fall asleep.
